We collect only what is necessary, never sell it, and delete it when you ask. The full detail is below.
What information we collect
We collect only what membership, volunteering or payment confirmation needs: name, mobile number, age band, district/block, chosen role, and the UPI transaction ID you enter when confirming a payment. We do not ask for Aadhaar numbers, bank details or caste.
How we use it
Your details are used to maintain the membership record, tell you about meetings in your district, reconcile payments and send movement updates. We do not sell or rent your information to advertisers, data brokers or any other political organisation.
OTP and mobile verification
The OTP sent during joining exists only to check that the number is real. The code is stored hashed, expires automatically after a short window, and is not used for anything after verification. We use a third-party SMS provider to deliver it, which sees only the number and the code.
Payments
Payments happen inside your own UPI app. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank credentials. We keep only the transaction ID you enter, the amount and the reference number, so that the payment can be reconciled.
Cookies and advertising
This site may display advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings (google.com/settings/ads).
Beyond that we use basic, anonymous analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not build profiles of individual visitors.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time. Write to sampark@yuvkranti.org; we act on such requests within 30 days. If you end your membership we retain only the minimum record required for financial audit.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update this page and note the revision date. Members are notified when a change is material.
