FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions we are asked most often — about membership, donations, transparency and volunteering.

What is Yuva Kranti Morcha?

YKM is a youth-led political movement in Bihar organised around five pillars — jobs, fair exams, education, health and dignity. It is built as a network of booth-level volunteers rather than around a single leader.

Why is membership only ₹51?

Because membership should be a declaration, not a barrier. ₹51 is low enough for any student or worker to join, and high enough that the list stays real rather than inflated. The money goes into ground-level organising costs, which we publish.

Where does my donation actually go?

The donate page carries an interactive breakdown of where each rupee goes — ground workshops, print material, travel, digital outreach and audit. We also publish monthly spend lines.

Do I have to verify my mobile number?

Yes. OTP verification on the join form exists so the member list cannot be padded with fake numbers. The code usually arrives within seconds; you can resend after 45 seconds if it does not.

Where does the exam tracker data come from?

Every entry carries a source link and an update date — official commission notices, court orders and major news reports. If you spot an error, email us and we will correct the record.

Can people living outside Bihar join?

Absolutely. Migrant Biharis are among the largest parts of this movement. You can become a member, share what is happening at your home booth, and volunteer digitally from wherever you live.

Will YKM ally with an existing party?

Any alliance decision will follow member consultation and its terms will be published. One condition is already fixed: we do not back candidates with serious criminal charges.

How do I volunteer?

Pick a role while filling the join form — booth volunteer, digital team, or district convenor. Our team will contact you with details of the next meeting in your district.

A revolution doesn't need spectators. It needs comrades.
